Understanding People with the MBTI

This is a workshop about ourselves, our fellow human beings and the personality inventory Myers Briggs Type Indicator, based on the psychology of Carl Gustav Jung. On the ancient temple of Apollo in Delphi was the inscription: "Know thyself". Knowing who you are is the basis for any sound, unshakeable personality and enables a strong, self-confident presence. If you think you have to pretend in order to come across well, you are on the wrong track. Self-knowledge is the first step towards knowing people. Both make us tolerant and successful in dealing with others.

Goals

You understand yourself and others better. You recognise where your anger comes from. You become more mindful and achieve more in dealing with others.

Contents

  • Analysing your own personality with the Myers Briggs Type Indicator.
  • Learning to assess the behavioural patterns of other people
  • Recognising your own effect on others
  • Finding better access to people
  • Formulating arguments in such a way that they come across as effective to the other person
